An Interview with
Lou Tenaglia, Body Builder

Q: Lou, Why are you so enthusiastic about PowerButter?
A: As a body builder, I see PowerButter as not only a great source of protein but also a convenient, and —this is key—great-tasting product. Body Builders use peanut butter as a staple. I squeeze it in protein shakes and on sandwiches, salad greens and vegetables to provide essential fats and proteins burned up during workouts. PowerButter’s exclusive formula contains all the essential fats, protein, and flax fiber I need to restore my body after a workout. It’s like the perfect product.

Q: What are the nutrition values of PowerButter?
A: I tell my customers that PowerButter contains all the good kinds of essential fat. And when you work out, your body needs good fat. One of the major benefits of essential fat is an increase in HDL (good cholesterol) and a decrease in LDL (bad cholesterol). The good fats in PowerButter are Omega-3 and Omega-6. Omega-3 helps strengthen cell membranes to keep toxic substances from entering your cells and also helps stimulate the body’s own fat metabolism. One other major point, Omega-3 helps to keep your arterial walls strong, which reduces the rate of heart attack or arterial sclerosis. Omega-6 works to keep your joints from deteriorating to help prevent arthritis. We all know that when we age or put stress on our joints, we need Omega-6 to keep us on the move and in the gym.

Q: I understand PowerButter contains quite a bit of flax fiber, What effect does that have on the body?
A: PowerButter contains 6 grams of high-Ligan flax fiber. That’s a lot. Flax slows the metabolic rate of protein and dextrose. The dextrose in PowerButter is the good sugar, as opposed to fructose. Dextrose does not need to be broken down by enzymes, so the body converts dextrose immediately to glucose. Your body uses the glucose for energy and moves on; there is less chance of storing it as fat. Your body becomes an efficient working machine.

Q: Why are egg whites in the formula?
A:: Let’s talk about egg whites. Egg whites have a moderate rate of digestion, not fast or slow. They are said to be the most anabolic protein source and are vegetarian- friendly.

Q: Any final thoughts?
A:: I own my own supplement store and I’ve seen plenty of muscle-building and nutrient-replenishment products. But I believe that PowerButter is the best to come along in quite some time. It has it all—taste, essential fats, 47% protein and flaxseed. PowerButter replenishes the body, keeps it in balance and running at peak performance. It is the ultimate nutrition product and one of the most cutting-edge new products I have encountered in a long time.
